Axis Mega Distribution Centre
Axis Mega Distribution Centre (“AMDC”) stands on a 50 acre industrial land with a wide frontage onto the Klang/Banting Highway and about 4.5 kilometres from the KESAS Highway which connects to West Port and the rest of the Klang Valley. The LRT 3 or Bandar Utama - Klang LRT Line terminates at Johan Setia LTR Station which is about 4 minutes away from AMDC. This property was formerly known as Axis PDI Centre with a single storey pre-delivery and inspection building, with an integral double storey office annexe, a single-storey car repair building, a car parking facility to cater for 8,500 vehicles and other ancillary building. When the tenant vacated the property, the Manager decided to embark on re-development of warehouses in two phases. Phase 1 of AMDC consist of a built-to-suit single storey warehouse, a double storey office block, other ancillary buildings and external elements with a built-up area of 515,000 sq. ft. constructed on 24.78 acres of land for Nestle Products Sdn Bhd. Construction works started end 2016 and it is on schedule to hand over to Nestle in January 2018. This warehouse is of Grade A construction and equipped with Early Suppression Fast Response (“ESFR”) sprinkler system. Nestle Products’ lease will commence from 1 June 2018 for a fixed period of ten years with an option for further two terms of three years. This facility will serve as Nestle’s distribution centre. The Manager will embark on development of Phase 2 in the near future.
